Providing clinical interventions through social and therapeutic horticulture, working with children and adults with learning difficulties, mental ill health, dementia and a variety of other conditions.
Green Social Prescribing
At GUAG we work closely with health care professionals who prescribe horticultural therapy as treatment and we deliver the green medicine! This is a new and developing field of health care and we’re proud to say that GUAG is at the forefront of the initiative. The results we have had so far are very impressive and we are working to deliver the benefits to a much wider audience.
Horticultural Training
The delivery of Training – Basic Principles of Horticulture – Short Gardening Course.
Therapeutic Garden Design
Consultation on therapeutic garden design (including traditional design green space).
Growing and food workshops
Seasonal fruit and vegetable growing, cooking your own produce and nature based craft activities.
